About Diem Get Paid App
The Diem Get Paid app helps match people needing work done with people who will get it done. Customers post cleaning, moving, lawn care, handy work and other job types. Using the Diem Get Paid app, you can simply browse job orders near you and accept any that meet your schedule, pay range, and skills. So if you’re looking to make extra money, use the Diem Get Paid app to seize the day!
How do I get paid?
Payments are sent using PayPal. PayPal will conveniently send you payments from Diem Get Paid directly to your PayPal account! To learn more about how to set up PayPal, click the button below.
When do I get paid?
PayPal delivers payments from the Diem Get Paid app to your PayPal account within 1-3 business days from when the job was completed. You can keep track of all your payments and their statuses directly from your PayPal account.
Accepting a Job
Accepting a job is easy! Here’s how to do it:
1. Go to the Diem Get Paid app
2.Tap the job you’re interested in
3.Read the expectations and job details.
4.Ensure you can meet the preferred time and date for the customer.
5.Press ‘ACCEPT JOB’
6.Congratulations, the job should now appear in your calendar! Remember to reach out to the client to introduce yourself
How To Ensure Your Job Goes Smoothly
Remember that it’s your duty to ensure quality work gets completed always. Disputes by the client could lead to loss of payment, termination or even legal action in some cases. Follow these tips to ensure your job goes smoothly:
Before accepting:
- Read and understand the job description.
- Ensure you’re qualified to get the job done and have all the tools/equipment.
- Ensure you can go for the preferred time.
After accepting:
- Text or call the client before the job to introduce yourself and go through any additional details for the job.
- Review the job details and pack your equipment if needed.
On the job:
- Let the client know you’re on the way.
- Arrive on time.
- Ask if the client would want to do a walk through before and after the job.
Time Extensions
Does the client want to extend the job longer than what was ordered? Here’s what you need to do:
- Clarify with the client on how much extra time they need.
- Tell them to go to the job in their app and extend the time for the required amount.
- That’s it! You should be able to see the extended time on your end on the app under ‘Assigned Jobs’
Remember: it is your responsibility to ensure that additional time is ordered.
Receiving Payment
Usually payment takes 1-3 business days to be deposited into your PayPal account. To receive payment you must ensure the client presses the button ‘Mark Job Complete’ for your job on their app. Alternatively, you can mark the job complete on your end by following these steps:
- Go to the ‘Diem Get Paid’ app
- Go to ‘Assigned’ under ‘My Jobs’
- Select the job you’ve completed.
- Press ‘Mark Complete’
Remember, even after the payment is deposited to your account PayPal has the ability to reverse it if any disputes occur. So only mark the job complete once you’re certain it’s done.
Do I need to stay for the full time?
For time-based jobs, you’re required to stay for the full duration of the job unless mentioned by the client. Leaving the job site early would reduce the pay and charge to the client. Should you feel like you’ve completed the job with time left, we recommend the following:
- Review your work and the job details to see if nothing is missed.
- Work on final touches to improve the quality of your work.
- Ask the client if there’s another additional work they’d like you to do.
- Do a walk through with the client to ensure nothing was missed.
How Do I Receive a Tips?
Clients can either tip you through cash or through the app before marking the job complete. For a client to place a tip on the app, they’d do so by:
- Opening their Diem app
- Selecting the job under ‘Assigned’
- Selecting ‘Add Tip’ and putting the amount they’d want to tip.
The tip will be released with the rest of the payment through PayPal.

Cancelling On a Job?
Before cancelling, please note that we have a strict last minute cancellation policy. Cancelling on a job within 24 hours or cancelling too often, nearly always leads to termination.
We suggest letting the customer service team know before cancelling so they can coordinate alternatives with the client. Cooperating with the customer service team reduces the likelihood of termination.
Not Showing Up to A Scheduled Job
Not showing up to a job leads to guaranteed immediate termination. If you know you cannot make it to the job after accepting it, please contact the customer service team immediately.
